MARK MCCLOSKEY

Mark moved to Arizona in 1992 and has lived here ever since.  We’re fortunate to live here.  It’s a place of unbelievable vistas, terrific weather, a robust economy, very few natural disasters, and a fantastic mix of people from all over the country who embrace the cosmopolitan lifestyle Phoenix has to offer at a very affordable price.

Mark's experience in real estate spans 18 years now.  He enjoyed a couple of stints selling new homes - mostly multi-family living in Scottsdale and Phoenix.  Predominantly, however, Mark has focused on re-sale and is fortunate to have developed a strong client base which is almost exclusively referral now.  He focuses mainly focus is on Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Paradise Valley.  But he will gladly work across the valley - there are always new neighborhoods to discover and explore because the city is ever-expanding.  

The main thing Mark tries to bring to the table is reasonableness.  This is a mantra that we as a brokerage try to impart upon all of our clients because when both buyer and seller are reasonable, it is easiest to negotiate, find a middle ground, and thereby close.  Mark's knowledge of sub-markets is strong, especially in the northeast valley where we do most of our work.  Mark has a background in law and uses that to protect client’s interests at all times.  Mark brings a wealth of experience with construction after having done new builds and personal work on numerous homes over the years either as flips or to live in personally.  Mark recently obtained his Broker's license and started Avenue3 Realty at the beginning of 2022.

Mark has a girlfriend of five years named Katrena who also helps with Avenue3 Realty as an unlicensed assistant. Her son Cameron is a senior in high school and lives with with them both. Mark is very active in his free time. He enjoys, yoga, golf, mountain biking, skiing and many different racquet sports.

SHANNON PROFFER

 After more than seven years in the Arizona Real Estate Industry, Shannon Proffer has made an impressive mark. Most of her clients are gracious referrals and pleased clients she assisted previously. Transplanted from the Midwest, Shannon fully understands the allure and process of making the move to AZ, therefore specializing in "out-of-town" clients. She also is a master of parlaying Midwest values into impeccable client service while frequently selling local properties for the highest ROI in short periods of time. Having a deep understanding of the Greater Phoenix market, Shannon gets Sellers top dollar for their properties and has creative strategies for Buyers to win those intense bidding wars. Shannon  has consistently improved her year-over-year sales each year since starting as a real estate agent. Shannon’s spirit is infectious and it’s abundantly clear that she loves being a realtor. She truly cares about her client's satisfaction and happiness. She is extremely organized, driven, and positive-spirited, resulting in constantly *making it happen* for her people.

Shannon has recently joined forces with Avenue3 Realty to stand beside her long-time colleague and friend, Mark McCloskey. Not only do you get the expertise of one Realtor, but Mark's experience is always available for all of Shannon's clients. We are both her for each and every step of your home buying/selling/leasing journey to make things as smooth as possible. 

When Shannon isn't out showing homes or consulting with clients, you can definitely find her somewhere outdoors or doing something active. She likes to keep busy at all times while placing a priority on family and friends. Shannon currently resides in Scottsdale and takes full advantage of all of the things to do around town, whether attending her regular yoga and spin classes, running her beloved Pomeranian, Lola, at the dog park, or hiking camping all over our beautiful state.
